And my life is suddenly amazing for the month of March.
I don’t know how much vodka I put in this but I’m going to drink it anyway: a memoir
this drink tastes awful but I can’t waste alcohol: a sequel
I think there is a big misconception between many young impressionable teens who listen to Atmosphere. A lot them seem to think that Slug encourages doing hard drugs, which is flat out WRONG…
In fact many of his lyrics show otherwise that he is AGAINST hard drug use and has felt the effects of losing loved ones to these demons. You understand this IF one is smart enough to catch the message in the lyrics and understand the metaphor of a track (for example the entire song “Became”).
Slug has said on record that he has never sniffed or injected anything in his life. He said he never done cocaine or speed or meth or heroin, etc….
Just was on my mind. I hate seeing some young impressionable kids springboard into some of the dangerous drugs because THEY THINK their favorite Rapper encourages it…
The fact that anyone is doing something because they think their favorite rapper encourages it is fucking stupid, even if it’s like, saving lives or some shit. Don’t do something because of someone you don’t even know for some trivial shit like you like their music.
